We are an independent ticket reseller, not the Hungarian Parliament or its ticket office. Our prices are higher than the ticket's face value because they include our service fee. Face-value tickets are also sold directly by the Parliament at parlament.hu.

Terms of use

In short: Danube Landmark is run by Bright Function Limited, a UK company. We are an independent reseller of Hungarian Parliament tour tickets. We are not the Parliament and we are not its ticket office.

Our prices include the ticket's face value plus our service fee, so they are higher than the Parliament's own prices. You can cancel free of charge up to 72 hours before your tour.

2. Our role as a reseller

3. What you are booking

You are booking entry to the Hungarian Parliament Building for a 45-minute visitor tour with an audio guide or guide provided by the Parliament, at the date and time you select. Your booking includes:

Your booking does not include transport, food, drinks or a private guide unless stated in your confirmation.

4. How booking works

  1. You choose a date, a time slot and the number and type of tickets.
  2. Before you pay, we show you the full price broken down into the face value and our service fee.
  3. When your payment is successful, we send you a booking confirmation by email. A binding contract between you and Bright Function Limited is formed when we send that confirmation.
  4. We send your ticket or entry details by email before your tour. If you haven't received them 24 hours before your tour, contact us.

If we can't secure a ticket for the exact time you booked, we'll contact you before your tour and offer another time on the same day, another day, or a full refund. We will never change your booking without your agreement.

Please give us a correct email address and a phone number with the country code so we can reach you if anything changes.

5. Prices and payment

6. Admission conditions

The Parliament sets the conditions of entry. In particular:

If you are refused entry because you did not meet these conditions, this counts as a no-show under our refund policy.

7. Changes and cancellations by you

You can cancel or change your booking free of charge up to 72 hours before your tour. Full details are in our refund policy.

8. Changes and cancellations by the Parliament

The Parliament Building is a working seat of government. Tours can be cancelled or shortened at short notice, for example for state events, official visits or security reasons. If your tour is cancelled or cannot go ahead, we will offer you a new date and time or a full refund, including our service fee. The choice is yours.

9. Your statutory rights

Tour bookings for a specific date are leisure services. Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 (regulation 28(1)(b)), and the equivalent rule in EU Directive 2011/83/EU (Article 16(l)), the standard 14-day cancellation period does not apply to them. Instead, our own free cancellation policy applies.

Nothing in these terms affects your other legal rights as a consumer, including your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or the mandatory consumer laws of the country where you live.

10. Our liability

11. Using this website

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you live elsewhere in the UK or in the EU, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of your country and you may bring proceedings in your local courts.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version shown at the time you book applies to your booking.
